내 진정 사모하는 친구가 되시는
구주 예수님은 아름다워라
Jesus, my dearest Friend and Savior, How beautiful is my Savior, Jesus.

산 밑에 백합화요 빛나는 새벽별
주님 형언할 길 아주 없도다
He is the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star, There is no way to describe His beauty.

내 맘이 아플 적에 큰 위로 되시며
나 외로울 때 좋은 친구라
When my heart is hurting, He is my greatest comfort, And when I am lonely, He is my faithful Friend.

주는 저 산 밑에 백합 빛나는 새벽별
이 땅 위에 비길 것이 없도다
He is the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star, There is nothing on earth that can compare with Him.

내 몸의 모든 염려 이 세상 고락간
나와 항상 같이 하여 주시고
Through all my cares and every joy and sorrow, He is always with me,

시험을 당할 때 악마의 계교를
즉시 물리치사 날 지키시네
When I am tempted and the enemy schemes against me, He defeats the enemy at once and keeps me safe.

온 세상 날 버려도 주 예수 안버려
끝까지 날 돌아 보시니
Even if the whole world should forsake me, Jesus never will, He watches over me to the very end.

주는 저 산 밑에 백합 빛나는 새벽별
이 땅 위에 비길 것이 없도다
He is the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star, There is nothing on earth that can compare with Him.

내 맘을 다하여서 주님을 따르면
(내 맘을 다하여 따르면)
If I follow the Lord with all my heart,

길이길이 나를 사랑하리니
(길이길이 사랑하리니)
He will love me forever and ever.

물 불이 두렵잖고 창검이 겁 없네
주는 높은 산성 내 방패시라
I will not fear the waters or the flames, nor sword or spear, For the Lord is my strong fortress and my shield.

내 영혼 먹이시는 그 은혜 누리고
나 친히 주를 뵙기 원하네
Enjoying the grace that nourishes my soul, I long to see my Lord face to face.
