얼마나 아프셨나 얼마나 아프셨나 그 귀한 손과 발에 못이 박힐 때
How much pain did He endure, As those precious hands and feet were nailed?

얼마나 아프셨나 얼마나 아프셨나 주 십자가에 매달려 고통 당할 때
How much pain did He endure, As He hung in suffering upon the cross?

얼마나 아프셨나 얼마나 아프셨나 그 채찍질과 조롱을 당할 때
How much pain did He endure, As He was scourged and mocked?

얼마나 아프셨나 얼마나 아프셨나 십자가 고통당하실 때
How much pain did He endure, As He bore the agony of the cross?

나는 진정 몰랐나 주님의 고통을 내 눈과 귀를 닫고 살지 않았나
Did I truly not know His suffering? Did I live with my eyes and ears shut?

나는 진정 잊었나 고통의 이유를 날 대신해 고통당하신 이유를
Did I truly forget the reason for His pain? The reason He suffered in my place?

주님 고난 당하신 십자가 어두웠던 나의 눈에도 보이네
The cross where the Lord endured pain, Now even my once-darkened eyes can see.

잊었던 주의 눈물과 흘린 피 이제야 나의 마음에도 흐르네
The tears He shed, the blood He poured, Now even my heart begins to feel.

나는 진정 몰랐나 주님의 아픔을 내 눈과 귀를 닫고 살지 않았나
Did I truly not know the Lord’s pain? Did I live with my eyes and ears shut?

나는 진정 잊었나 주님의 사랑을 날 위해 목숨 버리신 그 사랑을
Did I truly forget the love of the Lord? The love that gave His life for me?

주님 고난 당하신 십자가 어두웠던 나의 눈에도 보이네
The cross where the Lord endured pain, Now even my once-darkened eyes can see.

잊었던 주의 눈물과 흘린 피 이제야 나의 마음에도 흐르네
The tears He shed, the blood He poured, Now even my heart begins to feel.

얼마나 아프셨나 얼마나 아프셨나 어두웠던 내 눈에 주가 보이네
How much pain did He endure, Now my once-darkened eyes see the Lord.

얼마나 아프셨나 얼마나 아프셨나 이제야 주의 품으로 돌아오네
How much pain did He endure, Now at last, I return to His embrace.

주님의 십자가 바라보네 얼마나 그 얼마나 아프셨나
I gaze upon the cross of the Lord, How much, oh, how much pain He endured.
